This photograph shows my brother, Tim Scoggins (on the left), and me (on the right) washing dishes in the water on the shore of Lake Wylie, off Mt. Gallant Road near Rock Hill, SC. We had eaten dinner at our friend's river cabin, and our mom told us to rinse the dinner plates off in the water. In the background are the remains of an old river pier.
